Alright, I'm looking for a new host for my site. In order to improve my site, I need to use modules which aren't standard on a shared host. I'm also planning on using the server I get as a private VPN tunnel. Other than a decent amount of storage, I don't need anything taxing for the site. And I'm not sure what resources an VPN will require.

So I could use some hosting recommendations for an entry level dedicated box or a VPS.

I was with santrex for my "iffy" site, great if you want a host that doesnt give a shit about what you host, also great if you want a host that doesnt have a great uptime, so many "network problems" that they knew about and were working to fix, consistently for a year.

well, yeah, it turns out i had set up a subscription on the ex's paypal account, so i thought, BONUS!  free hosting, without realising i was still paying for it, well, she was, so the subscription is now cancelled and i owe the 12bucks, but the account is still up, so BONUS!! free hosting, well, free hosting that is down 99.9% of the time.
